The Parks Board meets on a regular basis on the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. and are open to the public. The Board consists of 13 members appointed by City Council for staggered two year terms. This Board serves in an advisory capacity to City Council on parks and recreation policy matters. Missouri City residence is required to be a member.

Pre-festival entertainment will kick off the event at 5:30 pm and will follow with the tree lighting ceremony and fireworks!
From 6-9 pm, guests are invited to enjoy the array of event activities including the 3-lane snow hill & photos with Santa! To support area families in need this holiday season, the Missouri City Police Department will be onsite to collect unwrapped toys for the annual Blue Santa Toy Drive. All donations can be dropped off by the Christmas tree. Event parking is available at Thurgood Marshall High School. FREE event shuttles will be running throughout the event.

The purpose of this course is to provide participants with an understanding of the various aspects and issues relating to the storage ad proper management of property and evidence. Effective management of property and management requires policies that outline evidence submission, proper storage facilities, and appropriate purging procedures. This class delivers useful information for evaluating current policies and procedures for the submission of evidence, packaging of evidence, and storage of evidence, security of facilities, and audits and inventories.
Concepts such as prioritizing high liability items, utilizing the space you have in the most efficient and organized way, the impact of hazards such as fentanyl and the managing of DNA and firearms in line with state statutes will be discussed.

Our 12th Annual Tournament is set. We continue to be motivated by many graduating High School Seniors being blessed through our hosting of this professionally run Golf Tournament. Men For Change, Inc. continues to embark upon a mission of providing numerous scholarships and other assistance to young men and women in our community who aspire to obtain a college education. In our awarding of numerous scholarships over the past fourteen years, we have sponsored campus tours and visits throughout the United States, supported Area College Prep conferences, and various other educationally oriented events in our community. We remain committed to reaching more and more of our young men and women in the coming years to offset the constantly rising cost of college.

Runners of all levels and ages are invited to participate in the Snowfest Shuffle! In lieu of a registration fee, participants are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy for the Missouri City Police Department Blue Santa Toy Drive. Free t-shirts will be available to those who register by November 25. Check-in will be from 7:30-8:00 am at the Rec & Tennis Center and the 1 mile fun run will begin at 8:15 am. The race route will start and end at the Rec & Tennis Center. Following the race will be a post race party in the Rec parking lot and a watch party for the parade.

Join us for the 35th annual Snowfest Parade! The two mile long procession will feature floats decorated in holiday themes, and various organizations on foot!
The parade will begin at the Public Safety Headquarters located on the corner of Cartwright Road and Murphy Road. Roads will close at 7:15 am surrounding parade route. Community organizations that would like to participate in the Snowfest Parade are invited to contact Kyle Frye at email@example.com.

The proposed development would include a maximum of three single-story buildings to locate a tutoring facility, a café with a multipurpose “community” room and a child care facility.
