Confirmed Cases Reported in Local Nursing Home

Fort Bend County Health & Human Services confirms first presumptive positive case of COVID-19. FBHHS have established a phone bank that citizens, physicians and community partners may call with inquiries regarding COVID-19. As of now, the hours of operation will be Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The City of Missouri City has been notified of confirmed COVID-19 cases at a nursing home within City limits. In accordance with the Texas Health and Safety Code and the U.S. Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA), we cannot disclose the name of the nursing home or the number of confirmed cases. This is another challenging outcome of the COVID-19 pandemic and the City has extended its support to the organization and individuals that are affected.
