COVID-19 Update: The City held it's first COVID briefing of the year. Fort Bend County has now crossed Gov. Abbott’s COVID-19 hospitalization threshold. Therefore, most businesses and restaurants must roll back to 50 percent occupancy. Other businesses, such as bars, must CLOSE. Executive Order GA-28 is still in effect, prohibiting all gatherings of more than 10 people. The City plans to conduct these briefings every three weeks.
